Summary
HITACHI IGNITE 2026 is a special edition of TSUKUBA CONNÉCT (#90) held at the Hitachi Regional Industry Support Center in Hitachi, Ibaraki. Set in a northern Ibaraki region built on manufacturing, it looks at how local manufacturers change their workplaces and industries by partnering with outside companies, told through people who have done it.
Three sessions cover cross-company and overseas collaboration by manufacturing ventures from northern Ibaraki and Ota City, co-creation stories between manufacturers and startups, and Ibaraki University's SAKURA BLOOM PARK, an industry-academia co-creation center due to open in February 2027. An exhibition and networking run alongside, and online participation is available.
