Summary
HITACHI IGNITE 2026 is the 90th TSUKUBA CONNÉCT by Venture Café Tokyo, held at the Hitachi Regional Industrial Support Center in Hitachi City, Ibaraki. Under the theme "collaborative technology, changing workplaces, emerging industries", it looks at how manufacturers in this long-established industrial city and northern Ibaraki are teaming up with each other, with outside ventures, and with university research.
The program opens with an orientation session for first-time attendees, followed by sessions (titles tentative) on northern Ibaraki manufacturing ventures going global and co-creation stories between manufacturers and startups. Exhibits and networking run throughout, and remote participation is available. Founders can also apply to pitch at PITCH ARENA and receive feedback from VC commentators.
