Summary
Sendagaya.rb #543 is an online meetup held on Google Meet, with the start time moved to 21:00. Topics are chosen to fit attendees' interests: talks that caught people's attention at Kaigi on Rails 2026 and RubyKaigi 2026, help with things people are stuck on in development, and independent research or building.
The evening opens at 21:00 with introductions and picking themes, followed by discussion of one theme at 21:30 and another at 22:00, wrapping up around 22:30 (sometimes running until about 23:00). Candidate topics include reading the Ruby Hacking Guide and Rails Guides together and learning REST and OpenID Connect. Bring a laptop, and joining the community Slack is recommended.
About the community
A local Rubyist community for people in western Tokyo interested in Ruby, Rails, and related technology. It meets on a near-weekly basis for relaxed discussion of topics attendees bring, group reading of documentation, and development Q&A. Beginners are welcome, and members also ask questions and share links on Slack.
