Summary
This is the on-site volunteer recruitment page for JJUG CCC 2026 Fall, the Japan Java User Group conference held on Saturday, November 28 at Bellesalle Shinjuku Grand Conference Center. It is not the general attendee registration page. Starting this time, there are two roles: day-of staff (about 40 to 50 people, first-timers welcome) and staff leaders (about 6 people, for those with prior JJUG CCC staff experience).
Day-of staff work in shifts on tasks such as timekeeping and equipment in session rooms, running sessions, reception, and guiding attendees, with roughly four slots each. Outside their shifts they are free to attend sessions. Staff leaders join weekday-evening online meetings from late October to plan shifts and revise the staff manual, then direct day-of staff in their assigned areas on the day.
Coordination happens on Slack. The registration deadline for day-of staff is November 10 and the application deadline for staff leaders is October 20. Staff gather at 8:30 on the day, and volunteers receive a JJUG staff T-shirt.
