Summary
An online session of a regional Ruby community based in the western part of Tokyo. It runs on Google Meet and brings together people interested in Ruby, Rails, and the surrounding ecosystem for a relaxed conversation about whatever they are curious about. Note that the start time for this session has been moved to 21:00.
The evening opens with introductions, after which participants decide together which topics to cover. The agenda is set by what people bring: takeaways from RubyKaigi 2026 and Kaigi on Rails 2025, questions about problems they are stuck on in their own development work, or simply time to investigate something or build what they want. Suggested topics include reading the Ruby Hacking Guide and Rails guides, and working through how OpenID Connect fits together.
One topic is discussed from 21:30 and another from 22:00, with the session closing around 22:30 (it sometimes continues informally until about 23:00). Bring a laptop. People who want advice on Ruby and complete beginners are both welcome, and members use Slack to ask questions and share links.
About the community

The meetups run online on a recurring basis with no fixed talk format: the agenda comes from the topics and questions participants bring on the day.
