#96 Let's Translate MDN Together: Translation Community Regular Meetup

This is the 96th edition of a monthly event where participants translate MDN Web Docs into Japanese together. It runs online only again this month: people work from home or wherever they are, and use the #translation channel on the Mozilla Japanese Community Slack to ask questions, report progress, and help each other. Since MDN's platform migration, translation moved from the old wiki workflow to a GitHub pull request workflow, and members who can answer questions about that process will be present. The day starts at 13:00 with greetings on Slack, followed by individual translation work from 13:00 to 17:00. Around 15:00 there is an interim check-in on Google Meet, and at 17:00 participants share results and impressions before closing. The Saturday afternoon slot is deliberately unhurried, so you can finish one article carefully or complete several if you are experienced. Arriving late or leaving early is fine. Newcomers get help with the basics of translating web documentation and with using GitHub. People already familiar with MDN translation can sign up under the tutor slot and support first-time participants. If you are not confident in English, proofreading finished drafts into more readable Japanese is an equally important part of the work. Bring a PC you can do translation work on.
