Summary
The 533rd Sendagaya.rb meetup, held online via Google Meet. Note that the start time has been changed to 21:00. Themes are decided around participants' interests: sharing takeaways from RubyKaigi 2026 and Kaigi on Rails 2025, consulting on development roadblocks, or working on individual research and projects.
The rough timeline: doors open at 21:00 with self-introductions and theme selection, theme 1 from 21:30, theme 2 from 22:00, and wrap-up planned for 22:30 (sometimes extending to around 23:00). Bring a laptop. Participants can also propose topics or ask questions in advance on the community Slack.
Candidate topics include reading the Ruby Hacking Guide, Rails Guides, or Metaprogramming Ruby, exploring how OpenID Connect works, and discussing REST architecture. Beginners and anyone looking for advice are welcome.
About the community
A regional Rubyist community based in western Tokyo that holds recurring casual meetups for people interested in Ruby, Rails, and surrounding technologies. Sessions take the form of relaxed discussion and consultation on hot topics and whatever participants are curious about, and beginners are welcome.
