Summary
Sendagaya.rb is a regional Rubyist community based in the western part of Tokyo, and this 532nd session is again held online via Google Meet. Sessions are loosely structured around what participants want to discuss: topics that came up at RubyKaigi 2026 and Kaigi on Rails 2025, questions about development problems people have run into, and time for everyone to research what interests them or build what they want to build. The rough timeline is 21:00 doors open with self-introductions and choosing themes, talks on chosen themes at 21:30 and 22:00, and a planned wrap-up at 22:30 (with an optional extended session sometimes continuing until around 23:00). Candidate topics include reading through the Rails guides and security guide, Metaprogramming Ruby, REST architecture, and OpenID Connect, but all are tentative and requests via Slack are welcome. People who want to discuss Ruby or Rails, including beginners, are welcome. The only thing to bring is a laptop. The community runs primarily on Slack, which is used for asking questions and sharing links.
