Summary
This is the 529th Sendagaya.rb meetup, held online via Google Meet. Note that the start time has been changed to 21:00. It is a regular gathering of a local Rubyist community where people interested in Ruby and Rails come together for relaxed technical talks and discussion.
The session opens with participant self-introductions, after which attendees decide on the topics to discuss. Possible themes include highlights from RubyKaigi 2026 and Kaigi on Rails 2025, consultations about development roadblocks, and individual exploration or hacking on personal projects. Suggested reading topics include the Ruby Hacking Guide, Rails Guides, Metaprogramming Ruby, REST architecture, and OpenID Connect, but any topic or request is welcome.
The rough timeline is: 21:00 open and self-introductions, 21:30 first topic, 22:00 second topic, and 22:30 planned close (with an after-session sometimes running until around 23:00). Bring a laptop. Beginners are welcome, and the community uses Slack to keep in touch.
