Summary
OSS Gate Pass 2026 is the first offline conference celebrating the 10th anniversary of OSS Gate, which launched in December 2015. It will be held on October 3, 2026 at AND PAD (Sumitomo Fudosan Tokyo Mita Garden Tower, 37th floor) in Mita, Minato-ku, Tokyo.
The day brings together people who have taken part in OSS Gate workshops across Japan for a series of roughly 10-minute lightning talks, where participants share what they gained, noticed, or valued from joining, including the impact on their careers. A networking reception follows the main program.
Proposals, talks, and sponsors are all being recruited, and travel and lodging support is planned for speakers and organizers coming from outside Tokyo.
About the community
OSS Gate is a community that has run workshops around Japan giving people their first hands on step into open source development, along with onboarding sessions to support continued participation afterward. It draws engineers curious about OSS as well as past workshop graduates.
