Summary
OSS Gate Pass 2026 is the first offline conference of OSS Gate, a project that aims to steadily grow the number of people who keep contributing to open source, held to mark its 10th anniversary. OSS Gate members from across Japan gather at ANDPAD STADIUM in Mita, Tokyo, to look back on a decade of workshops and onboarding programs.
The program is built around short 10-minute talks in which participants share their experiences: running OSS Gate workshops at companies, workshops on YouTube, how OSS shaped their careers, and their relationship with FLOSS. First-time speakers are welcome.
An after-party runs from 17:00 to 19:00 after the talks. Attendees must check in on the 27th floor to receive a QR code for entry to the venue.
About the community
A community that runs workshops across Japan where people take their first step in open source development, plus onboarding programs that support the second step, with the goal of growing the number of sustained OSS contributors. It draws engineers from beginners to experienced contributors.
