Summary
An online co-working session for anyone interested in Haskell, where participants work quietly on their own projects. This 361st edition is held in a Slack workspace, and the work is up to you: continue a hobby or work program, try out a library you have been curious about, or start learning the language from scratch.
Doors open at 12:50, and at 13:00 there is a round of short self-introductions where everyone says what they plan to work on. From 13:15 it is heads-down working time, and around 17:30 anyone who wants to can share what they got done, with the session wrapping up at 18:00. Coming and going partway through is fine, so attending for only part of the day works.
To join, register for the Haskell-jp Slack workspace and enter the #mokumoku-online channel. Messages in the main channels are archived and published publicly. The session is free because it runs online, and there is no after party this time.
About the community
A primarily Japanese-speaking community of Haskell users that runs online co-working sessions on a regular schedule. Attendees range from complete beginners to people writing Haskell at work, and the format is hands-on rather than lecture based. The atmosphere is relaxed: you can ask others for help when you get stuck, and anyone who wants to can give a short talk about what they built.
