Summary
The 360th edition of an online session where participants work quietly on their own Haskell projects. You can continue a program you write for work or for fun, try out a library you have been curious about, or start learning the language from scratch. Anything Haskell-related is fine, and asking other participants for help is welcome.
Doors open at 12:50. Self-introductions start at 13:00, where everyone briefly shares what they plan to work on, and focused work time runs from 13:15. Around 17:30 anyone who wants to can give a short report on what they got done, and the session ends at 18:00. Coming and going partway through is fine, so attending only part of the day works.
The venue is the #mokumoku-online channel of a Slack workspace, so joining requires signing up for the workspace and then joining that channel. The session is free because it runs online, and there is no after party. Note that messages in the main channels are all saved to a public log. The hashtag is #hasmoku.
About the community
A community of people interested in Haskell who gather to work quietly on whatever they have brought with them. The format centres on hands-on time rather than lectures, with an easy atmosphere for asking others when you get stuck. Attendees range from first-time learners to people using Haskell professionally. Sessions run regularly both online and in person, and this is the 360th in a long-running series. Anyone who wants to can give a short results report or lightning talk.
