Summary
This is the 355th run of an online "mokumoku" session where each participant quietly works on something Haskell-related. Continue a program you write for work or for fun, try out a library you have been curious about, or start learning from scratch: anything involving Haskell is fine. Attendees also help each other with questions, and anyone who wants to can give a short talk about what they did.
The venue is the #mokumoku-online channel of the community Slack workspace. Doors open at 12:50, self-introductions where everyone shares their plan for the day start at 13:00, focused work runs from 13:15, volunteers present results from 17:30, and the session wraps up at 18:00. You can join or leave at any point, so attending only part of the day is fine.
Participation is free and there is no after party. To take part you need to sign up for the community Slack workspace and join the #mokumoku-online channel. Note that messages in the main channels are archived to a public log.
About the community
A Japanese community of programmers interested in Haskell, which has run this online co-working meetup regularly for years. Participants range from complete beginners to people who write Haskell professionally, and the format is deliberately loose: there is no curriculum, and everyone works on their own topic. Day-to-day activity centers on a Slack workspace where questions and discussion are welcome from anyone.
