Summary
An online co-working session where participants quietly work on whatever they want to do with Haskell. You can continue a hobby or work project, try out a library you have been curious about, or start learning the language from zero. Asking each other questions and working through problems together is welcome.
The room opens at 12:50, followed by self-introductions at 13:00 where everyone shares what they plan to work on. Focused work runs from 13:15, and around 17:30 anyone who wants to can give a short report on what they got done. The session wraps up at 18:00, and you are free to come and go at any point.
To join, register for the Haskell-jp Slack workspace and enter the #mokumoku-online channel. Note that messages in the main channels are archived and published publicly. Because the session is held online it is free to attend, and there is no after party.
About the community
A community of Haskell users in Japan that has run this online co-working meetup for more than 350 editions. The format is hands-on rather than lecture based: everyone works on their own code, questions and discussion between participants are encouraged, and there is a slot for short lightning talks or result reports for anyone who wants one. People learning the language from scratch are as welcome as those using it at work.
