Summary
An online co-working session for anyone who wants to spend an afternoon on Haskell. Continue a hobby or work project, try out a library you have been curious about, or start learning the language from scratch: anything Haskell-related counts. Participants are also welcome to ask each other questions and discuss problems as they come up.
Doors open at 12:50 and the session starts at 13:00 with short self-introductions where everyone shares what they plan to work on. Focused work runs from 13:15, and from around 17:30 anyone who wants to can give a brief report on what they got done, wrapping up at 18:00. You can join or leave at any point.
The venue is a Slack workspace and, since it is held online, attendance is free and there is no after party. To take part, sign in to the Haskell-jp Slack workspace and join the #mokumoku-online channel. Note that messages in the main channels are archived and published as a public log. The hashtag is #hasmoku.
About the community
A regular co-working meetup run by a Japanese-language community around the Haskell programming language. Attendees range from people just starting out to those using Haskell at work, and the format is self-directed hacking rather than lectures. It runs online on an ongoing basis, with optional lightning talks and a short results-sharing slot at the end.
