Summary
The 350th session of an online mokumoku (silent co-working) meetup focused on the Haskell programming language. Participants work at their own pace on anything Haskell related: continuing programs they write for hobby or work, trying out libraries they are curious about, or learning from scratch. There is optional lightning-talk time for anyone who wants to share, people can join or leave at any point, and helping each other through sticking points is welcome.
The day starts with self-introductions at 13:00, followed by focused work from 13:15, voluntary progress sharing from 17:30, and wrap-up at 18:00. The venue is the Haskell-jp Slack workspace: to participate, register for the Slack and join the #mokumoku-online channel. Note that messages in the main channels are saved and published as public logs. Because the session is held online, participation is free and there is no after-party.
About the community
A community of Haskell users in Japan centered on a public Slack workspace where members exchange knowledge day to day. It runs recurring mokumoku (silent co-working) sessions that draw everyone from beginners to engineers writing Haskell professionally. The format is relaxed: each participant works on their own project, with optional lightning-talk time for those who want to share.
