Summary
An online study group where participants read and discuss articles from The UX Collective, a widely followed UX publication. Articles published between 2025 and 2026 are picked in advance, and each session runs about 30 minutes from 12:00 on Wednesdays.
The format is straightforward. The group watches a NotebookLM-generated video summary of the selected article together, then each participant presents their own reading of it. Attendance requires a paid subscription to The UX Collective and the ability to summarize articles with NotebookLM.
The aim is to turn reading overseas UX writing, which is hard to keep up with alone, into a group habit. Hearing how others interpret the same piece deepens understanding and makes it easier to follow global UX conversations. To join, enter the UX DAYS TOKYO Slack and leave a comment; the session URL is also shared there.
About the community
A Japan-based UX community of practitioners and people brushing up their skills, running conferences and workshops alongside a steady stream of short, recurring study sessions. Coordination and announcements happen in a Slack workspace, and members use these meetups to discuss overseas UX writing in Japanese during the workday.
